About the Event

There will be four sessions of instruction in printmaking techniques including cardboard prints, contact prints, monotypes and lino blocks. Suitable for adults and young people ages 14 and up. 

Participants will be instructed in the basics of printmaking. They will be introduced to printing with a hand press using cardboard and contact stencils. They will progress to the use to the intaglio press with lino blocks. The goal will be to produce at least three series of prints by the end of the sessions. 

Participants: Minimum 5, Maximum 10

Materials: Included 

Dates: August 13-14 and August 20-21 from noon until 4p.m.
