Facility Management
Cranbrook and District Arts Council is a non-profit charitable organization. We support the visual arts in Cranbrook and the East Kootenay area. We are here to uplift our local artists and offer artistic opportunities for our community.
We have an opening for a short-term contractor to review our facility management systems. The successful candidate is a strong communicator, curious, comfortable working independently within a flexible, hybrid work from home *schedule. The purpose of this engagement is to strengthen operational efficiency, safety compliance, and asset stewardship at Cranbrook Arts.
*To complete this contract the successful independent contractor will need to make site visits and may require a temporary, self-provisioned workstation.
Rate: $25/hour for a maximum of 40 hours
This posting begins on June 15th and will be open until August 10th, 2026.

Are you passionate about strengthening the arts in our community and supporting the work the staff and volunteers do at Cranbrook Arts? Please nominate yourself or someone who would make a valuable addition to the Cranbrook and District Art Council [CDAC] Board.
We welcome people from all background who care about the arts and want to strengthen CDAC. We take our commitment to accessibility, collaboration, and community seriously. We are creating a space that allows for experimentation, learning, and creative connection. We trust each other to communicate openly, act with integrity, and contribute in ways that reflect both our shared values and your individual strengths.
Applications should include your name and contact information and why you would like to be nominated. We are excited to hear about your relevant experiences such as your community involvements, previous board experience, professional background, Arts and Culture experiences, volunteer roles and how you would like to support CDAC.
Nominations will be accepted until the end of the day August 21, 2026 either by dropping off your nomination at Cranbrook Arts or by emailing us at board@cranbrookarts.com
