Curious about calligraphy? This beginner-friendly class with Tara Mercer is the perfect place to start! You’ll learn the basic strokes that form beautiful letters, explore different types of pens and nibs, and discover which papers work best for smooth, clean writing. We will work with pointed dip pens and sumi ink. Students will bring home their pens, nibs, and ink to continue their calligraphy journey.
Tara is a bead maker turned mixed media artist turned calligrapher and hand letterer. She loves learning and sharing art with everyone.
