A series of hand building session where you will learn the basics of clay and create some beautiful and functional ware for a garden and patio space. Participants will have a number of options to choose from. Ideally, two mid-sized "garden themed" projects will be made along with a several petite pieces. The focus for the main projects will include functional and decorative ware including; a luminaire, bird house, bird, a house shaped vase and fence "decor". The small projects will include; garden stakes, self-watering spikes, a mini-vase and fence flowers!
After the projects are dried and fired, the focus on June 16th will be addressing the finishing process. Depending on the projects created, several "finishing processes" will be available.
