We will work through a series of excercises geared towards creating depth and atmosphere in our landscape paintings. Students will then work on their own landscape painting with guidance from the instructor. Students may use their own reference photos or one provided by Melanie.
Melanie is a Canadian landscape painter based out of Fernie, BC. Â She takes inspiration from painting outdoors or en plein air from which to create larger painting in studio. Melanie has a Bachelor in Fine Arts and has been painting with acrylics for over 30 years. Melanie is represented by Elevation gallery in Fernie and in Canmore, and Our Fragile Environments, group exhibit at the Art Gallery of Golden.
