Step into the world of pottery with this Beginner's Hand Building Class, where creativity meets the colours and textures of autumn. Guided by our experienced instructor, Karen, you'll embark on a journey of exploration with clay, starting with a "Project Menu" designed to introduce you to the fundamental hand-building techniques. These smaller projects will give participants the opportunity to play with different forms and techniques as they create a variety of small fall-themed projects.

As you grow more comfortable with the medium, you will select a mid-sized project for your final creation. Whether it's a leaf-imprinted tray, an ikebana pot inspired by autimn blooms, a vase adorned with harvest motifs or a luminary to warm your home as the days grow shorter. You can even bring you own seasonal idea to life in clay. In the final session, you will have an opportunity to glaze your pieces.
