Join our 8-session class, "Home Learners," designed specifically for kids who thrive in a creative and flexible learning environment. Led by our experienced instructor Colleen, this class offers a variety of projects using different articstic mediums, from painting and drawing to sculpting and hand-building in the pottery studio. Students will have ample opportunities to explore their creativity and take their projects in their own direction, fostering independence and artistic expression.
Ages 7-12
Colleen Routley is a Cranbrook-based potter with a rich artistic background spanning multiple mediums. Initially focusing on painting, she has dedicated the past 25 years to pottery, where she finds joy in the experimental nature and delightful surprises of glazes. Colleen is particularly passionate about creating large and unusual pottery pieces. For the past 25 years, she has also been committed to sharing her expertise by teaching others.
