Introduction to Landscape: Acrylic Painting

About the Event
Thursdays Evenings, 6:00-8:00
April 25th- May16th
Over the first 3 classes we will discuss topics including: Materials, Texture Mediums, Composition, Aspect Ratio, Color Mixing, Reference Photos, and Planning Process. We will explore techniques through fun exercises, in which students can practice at home.
Our 4th and last class we will apply our techniques to creating a landscape painting of each students choice. Many of the processes and techniques learned are applicable to many artistic mediums, as well as styles of painting: Portrait, Urban, Wildlife, Abstract and more.
Mo is a professional artist, teacher, adventurer, and energy worker. She also is the Community Engagement Coordinator for Cranbrook Arts.
