Introductory Pottery for 9 - 12 yrs

These classes will introduce participants to the art of handmade pottery, using real clay, not the air dry clay frequently used in kids craft classes. This clay must be dried and fired before the shiny glaze finish can be applied. The time it takes is about two weeks resulting in  two weeks between classes. After glazing the work is fired again at very high temperatures.  After patiently waiting for these processes, your beautiful handmade pottery will go home.
