Let’s fold some fun! In this hands-on workshop with Rico, kids ages 6–10 will dive into the world of origami and learn how to turn paper into playful shapes inspired by animals and nature. With easy-to-follow guidance and plenty of room for creativity, this class is a great way for kids to explore art through folding, focus, and fun. No experience needed. All materials are provided, and each child will leave with their own collection of paper creations.
Rico was born in Japan in 1980. She attended Musashino Art University in Tokyo obtaining a BA in Visual Communication Design in 2006. Later she attended Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam and received a BA in Fine Arts. She moved to Canada in 2012.
