Saturday, October 12th 12:00-1:30

In this workshop, participants will sculpt a series of their own small guardian figures, known as Kiln Gods, traditionally believed to bring luck to kiln firings. Guided by our skilled instructor Hail, you'll learn the basics of hand building techniques, shaping clay into unique and personal guardians that can also serve as decor for the hearth & home.

Hail is a Kootenay-born artist creating functional and whimsical pottery in Cranbrook, BC. She has been a potter for the past 7 years and graduated from the Kootenay School of Arts for ceramics in 2019.
