Join us for "Sculptural Felting," a four-session class perfect for both beginner and intermediate needle felting enthusiasts. Led by Kristin, this course will introduce you to the basics of needle felting and progressively dive deeper into this versatile craft. Each session will build on the last, guiding you through various techniques and projects to enhance your skills. By the end of the class, you'll have a thorough understanding of needle felting and a collection of beautiful, handmade felted creations:
Week 1 - intro to felting basics - working flat, working sculpturally
Week 2 - Simple armatures and forming more complex shapes
Week 3 - finishing, additions and findings, sewing and embroidery and beads
Week 4 - independent project and finish up day
At the end of the class, each participant can take home a small supply kit so they can continue felting on their own.
