Families (adult and ages 6+)
Join Rico for this family workshop where you will work together to create colourful origami flower wreaths. You’ll learn a few simple folding techniques and transform paper into blooms and leaves, then assemble them into a finished wreath ready to hang at home. This class is designed for families to work side-by-side and enjoy the process. Each adult and child will work on one origami wreath together. No experience is needed and all materials are provided.
Rico was born in Japan in 1980. She attended Musashino Art University in Tokyo obtaining a BA in Visual Communication Design in 2006. Later she attended Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam and received a BA in Fine Arts. She moved to Canada in 2012.
