About the Event
Sat Oct 28, 1:00 -3:00
In this Watercolor without fear workshop, I walk students through drawing a parrot. I introduce them, through a simple triad color scheme, basic color theory and mixing, understanding the limitations of the medium and substrates and a value study.
We also walk through techniques such as, controlling water, wet on wet, wet on dry, hard and soft edges, reserving whites and lifting. At the end of the class the students will have a finished painting of a colorful parrot without making mud.
Since 1996 this self-taught artist has been experimenting with a variety of different mediums, techniques and stlyes that is forever changing her body of work. Tammy has been featured in local, national and international media, she has sold her work in 8 countries and has 2 pieces on permenant display at the Uspace Gallery in Atlanta, Georgia.
