About the Event
Tuesdays
October 14 - November 4 & November 18
5:30 - 8:30 PM
This 5-session class is designed for both beginners and those with some prior wheel throwing experience. New students will learn the basics of working on the pottery wheel—centering, pulling, shaping, trimming, and glazing. Students with some experience can focus on refining techniques, improving consistency, and exploring new forms. Each session builds on core skills, with opportunities to create functional pieces such as bowls, cups, and small vases. Instruction is tailored to meet each student at their skill level, with hands-on guidance and demonstrations throughout the workshop.
Ashley Dodd is a self taught potter whose work is observed through the lens of her background in graphic design and illustration. She creates pieces that are clean, contemporary and colourful. Playing with clay is truly her joy and she hopes to share this mud bug with you.
