In this introduction to hand-building for kids, ages 10 and up, participants will be guided in making a whimsical bird. Bonnie and Kristie have many hours of working with clay and children. This hand-building opportunity will focus on the creation of funny funky whimsical birds.
In this two-lesson course, the whimsical bird will be made in the first session and in the last session the birds will be painted. At the end of the second session the projects will be finished with a clear coat and ready to go home.
